So, initial thoughts-- currently your greatest area of contrast is the furthest back from the viewer, when it should be nearest TO the viewer. The further an object is, the less detailed it is, and that also goes for lighting. If you did want to have things backlit by the moon, which is my guess atm as to the current lighting scheme, i would consider thinking about what you're honestly trying to say with this piece.
Just from an impartial observer, I assume this is supposed to be a spooky, derelict cottage? And I also assume children, by the tire swing. I also see that there are zero plants which sort of begs the question: where are we? Overgrown plants would push the idea of creepy, overlooked cottage; what we have right now is giving the impression that this is a just built home on a lot. If the ground is dead I would consider making the ground looked parched-- look at pictures of dry river beds for that appearance because it would sell the idea easier.
