bad online etiquette to bump an old thread unless theres a question relating to the topic

sorry hashbrown if you consider this "bad online etiquette" but my post is totally relevant ( although i agree its not that important ). alex put me in as an applicant for fall '09 which i'm not. Unless i misunderstood something here :P in which case , sorry to bug you guys.
and thanks cuttlefish, i'll go to 'whos applying'

HAHA i didnt mean to come off as a douche. Im used to writing on more active forums where something small like that doesnt warrant a bump, especially when it is like a couple months old :P

point taken hashbrown
i dont post much....hence i'm online etiquette retarded :)
but i have a question reg the portfolio, thought i'll ask here since people have more application experience.
Although they say (on the website) you can send your animation stuff on DVD, i've been told that DVDs are usually problematic. What is the alternative except VHS? can you send digi beta tapes for ex.?

hahaha. I asked that question last year at npd and the guy told me to just send in a dvd. Just make sure you test it out on a lot of different dvd players so you know it works, a lot of times when you burn a dvd it only works on some players
