To all of those who don't get accepted: do not fret. Life doesn't end, another year of patience and determination can result you gaining the leading edge in your artistic skills the next time you apply.

This will be your opportunity to be over-prepared instead of under-prepared, be close with the friends that you have, or to gain new ones during the meantime. We'll still be here to help if possible, because I want to see you guys get accepted as much as you do.

Feel free to post your responses, or to add onto your own list.

I'll make a pending list and those who are put on the waiting list as well.

you havent taken soap loaf and take kaii off the list since shes guaranteed a spot. haha this is going to be a lot of work maintaining, good work so far.never realized so many people were applying! If every person got in right now there would be no more room! So itll either be the year of animatedbuzz students or just a normal year. itll probably be just a normal year but a eyar of AB students would be nice...

hey I didn't apply to CalArts this year
Wish I did though, too expensive unfortunately. But hey, I had my first taste of AM, which involved a "Coffee talk" with my future classmates. Sooo much fun, now I can't wait to start. I'm sure you can all cheer me on as I wait for a letter concerning my loan. Hopefully I'll get it, but if I don't... I guess you could look at it as if being rejected from the course

Oh and good luck to all of you.
And hey, I'm so glad to here the phrase "Life is long" instead of "Life is short".

Wow that is a lot of people from AB that applied...Well if you look at last years thread like 15+ ABers got in, so who knows. I guess we're already a class pushing each other to get in. Congrats to everyone that gets in. It's amazing the first letter came in so fast, we're in February! I still don't expect mine until the end of March.

Whoever gets the first Character Animation one MUST post a picture of the acceptance package.
