Duuuude, I told you! I told you!

How about Chris? Please don't tell me that he didn't because both of you have equally different and awesome styles.
At one point of time or another, we all face a similar problem or obstacle. The main difference is how we face each ordeal and react to it from future memory, whether the experience be joyous or hurtful.

Wow! Congrats Dan! And to everyone else that made it in! Very nice. You guys have an amazing 4 years ahead of you. For me, it's only 3 ;)

Anyone who didn't make it in, as everyone else has been saying, definitely apply again! Figure draw like crazy, like always be figure drawing...that's what I've heard.

I tried to transfer to the Exp. BFA 5 years ago and was rejected. So it took me two times to get in, too.

Just stopping by to say congratulations to the now incoming freshmen class! :) It'll be a very exciting first year...and of course the next 3 years!

Don't worry though if you didn't get in. I was rejected on my first try.It was definately hard reading that first letter, but a full year of hard work made reading the actual acceptance letter that much sweeter.

Anyways, might see some of you during the Accepted Student Event...right now we're in major film crunch-time here so expect many "zombie-esque faces." lol. Well congrats again guys! Go out and have some fun---September will be here before you know it! :D

Congrats to all that got in!

I checked Cal Arts website last night and was surprised they are still accepting applications...anyone know if there were less applicants this year due to the economy?

I got to ask..those of you that got in...how are you going to pay?? I just get chills thinking of the cost

I don't think they've updated the website.

Congratulations Kyle! :)

Dan,
Could be..here is what they say though...Fall 2009

While the January 5, 2009 Regular Deadline has passed, we are still accepting applications for many of our programs for Fall 2009. Applications and portfolios submitted after the Regular Deadline will be reviewed in the order received until the program is filled. Once a program is closed, late applicants cannot be reviewed. Please contact the Office of Admissions at 800 545-2787 to inquire about open programs after the Regular Deadline has passed.

Wow that's surprising, but I doubt that includes Character. Can anyone confirm?

I got into Experimental MFA. I haven't decided if I want to go or not. Joined the forum to try to get some insight on it...

Get lots of animation experience, a good demo reel, flesh out my artistic voice, hopefully get some marketable skills as well, and also have an excuse to get out of my hometown and quit my dead end job. =P
