I will be, for the third time.
I'm pretty confident that I'll get in this time, but I'm not looking forward to making another portfolio, going through the admissions process, and waiting months and months for the acceptance letter again. I want these 9 months to be over as soon as possible.

Will be applying for Fall 2013...aiming for the November deadline
Don't bother. The only positive to making it into the first deadline is that you save a few bucks.

Third times a charm, right? :) Looks like our portfolios wil be submitted through slideroom this year. That makes me a happy camper.
I'll be applying as a BFA1 to the EA program.
Cool. Maybe admissions won't take so long this time around. I always felt bad for them that they had a sea of giant portfolio cases they had to lug around.

Is online submission optional? I have some big pieces that I don't know how Im going to scan. And I feel like taking a picture lowers the quality
Last time I was at calarts (last year-ish), I am pretty sure they said they wanted physical copies of all our work. . . if I were you, I would try to send all of my work on, AND submit via the online process, just in case.
Anyway Jon, your work has really improved over the past few months. Seriously, good job. Funny how we meet through basilmarket, and share work via AB/Deviantart lol. Anyway, GL with your calarts portfolio!

Thanks for the answer James. Yeah its weird, I've met some other people here that have weird connections with. You've always been good and you're definitely better with the life drawings! You know I don't weve actually interacted in Basil but I liked a lot of your work. Do you still visit Basil? How is it? I stopped going once I started university but made rare visits.
I'll be applying! I'm already in a state college now, but I'm looking to transfer in.
