What's up, dudes? First time posting, still getting used to the interface. I was hoping to get some feedback on a character design I'm adding to my first visdev portfolio.
His name is "O the Scientist" and he's from a concept album called Razia's Shadow. He's a very kind, gentle godlike figure. Despite his kindness, though, he's very emotionally distant from his angels. I was hoping the big beard might've communicated some humor while also physically separating him from his people, but I'm not...  more

I designed this villain for Halloween! His name is Lord Vam Pirebat! The master of all bats and all disgusting night creatures. What do you guys think? He's supposed to be elegant, sophisticated, scheming and evil.

Designed this character for an 11 Second Club animation a couple months ago. I kind of want to further explore him. Any comments would be much appreciated!

Hi! Trying to redesign my business cards in time for Ctn. I'm interested in doing character/ prop design. My current business cards are too detailed for how small they are so I wanted to simplify. Which do you prefer? And do you think this is a good design for business cards at all? Thanks!

Hey guys. I'm currently trying to rework a character that I've had for a while. One of the main inspirations behind her design was the "Pretty" version of Madam Mim from Sword in the stone. I'm trying to depart away from that as much as possible. I did some rough exploration sketches but I have unfocused judgment. If anybody could give me a few second opinions and redlines, I'd highly appreciate it.

Character description is in the comments.

    Hello there!

I'm still learning how to navigate this website, but I figured that this might be the place for character design critiques?

This inktober I've been working hard on improving my character design skills, especially in anatomy and bringing out character personality.

I would really appreciate any feedback on my work!

*I was having too much trouble creating a topic, so I'm putting it here*

When designing, I like to think I'm decent, but can be better. When it comes down to expressions and posing, I think that's where I need more help. Specifically, I'd like more help showing the character's personality. For example, here I'm trying to show a dancer who's logical and kinda aloof. I tried to show that, along with some less common expressions, but I still don't know if it's clear. Any advice or...  more

With my inktober this month I'm busy making pirates based on the prompts these four are some of the better ones I've produced (I think) and would love it if I could get some overall feedback on them as I'm aiming on making every new character better than the last by learning from any mistakes I make so if anyone can identify a few things for me to work on that be amazing.

I've been working on this character for quite some time now, my trouble is, this character is supposed to be androgynous. It's very difficult to maintain the balance between masculine and feminine, and although they are meant to be slightly more feminine, the feminine traits seem to outshine the masculine ones too much. I've reached an impasse with this, what should I do?
