I run "You Know You're an Animator When..." on Facebook, though here that seems irrelevant.
On my business card I wanted to write "Ezra Edmond: Giver of Life and Creator of Worlds", but people said that sounded too cocky. I guess I'll just call myself a Writer/ Animator then.
Here ya go! A round Peg Bar!
Lately I've been using a cintique and animating in flash. I got my cintique off craigslist so it was only about $500, instead of the usual $1000+.
If you're just practicing, Might as well go with Paper. I just find Digital drawing makes clean up faster and eliminates scanning.
You can also get a light box for about $25-30 from most art supply stores and just tape the round peg bar to it.
