In my almost 20 years in the Animation Industry I have had the opportunity to work on some amazing projects and with some of the most talented animators in the field. What I have learned is that I love animation with all my heart. I have had the chance to touch most of pretty much the entire process from visual development and story boarding all the way to final composite and color timing for final print. I have had the unique privilege of working along side legends in the industry to create some of the most memorable films of our generation and learned from them in the process. I enjoy sharing my experiences and knowledge to those who will carry on this amazing tradition into the future.
My interests include people watching and gesture sketching. Creating and discussing new ways of creating new looks and new visual styles of hand drawn animation using the latest technology. I love taking things apart and understanding how they work then coming up with a new way to come up with the same result or a new result. I love the heritage that has been handed down to us in animation and love to combine the genius of yesterday with the ideas of today and tomorrow. My particular passion is hand drawn but love it when someone can execute a project that transcends the process and can get me lost in story and character.
Excited to be joining Digital Domain's new Florida studio as a Vis-Dev artist this summer! Will be so inspiring to join a lot of the artists from the old Florida Disney studio who are now working there!
