Drawing routine? in the forum
FAQ
It actually depends for me because I have different kinds of art blocks, haha! But one thing that always seems to work for me is browsing through the artwork of artists that I love. Sometimes more drawing isn't the answer, but looking at an artist you admire or who inspires you can reinvigorate the creative muscles in your head. And maybe even a little of their genius will rub off on you? That's what I like to think :P.
Aside from the helpful suggestions the other posters gave you, have you tried changing your medium? Maybe if you draw with pencil a lot switch to a pen, or start to paint. A different mindset can do wonders for an art block where one feels the most "stale." You could even go out for a walk, enjoy the world around you, the sights and the sounds, no drawing, just pure observation.
