i think calarts are only for those who is very talented and at same time very rich.. so sad!! i know few students who been charged a great amount of money but can't find a high salary job after the graduation. this makes me feel that calarts may not really worth that big loan

well i also reappply this year , but i don't really count on getting in , i thought i may finally end up studying in RMIT in australia where tuition fee is much cheaper than USA,

I know you were directing this message towards Mary and Mathew, but I thought I'd invade the conversation. :) Hope you don't mind. I'm not sure why on Earth you would feel reluctant about getting in. This work is beautiful! My only critique would be that the one minute "demo reel" moves a bit too fast for my eye/brain to comprehend. i like the fact that it is short and to the point, but I would either cut out work (if you wanted to stay within the one minute time frame) or allow yourself something more like three minutes to let the stills rest and resonate to the viewers. They are beautiful works and it is a shame to let them zoom by so fast. I don't know you, but BRAVO and best of luck!

 

Also, I wanted to ask if any of you experimenters are applying for the MFA or undergrad degree.
