Hey gang! I'm 20 and transferring from Columbia College Chicago. I wasn't a fan of their animation program and applied to CalArts just to see if I even had the chops to get in. I'm honestly baffled that I got accepted (especially during a record year of applicants) because all of your guys' work is amazing 0_o Right now I'm struggling at being creative, which is what CalArts is really all about... This is my blog, though I use it as more of a process journal than an actual gallery space because I'm quite contemplative while I draw http://lopezkyle.blogspot.com/ And though I made it in, I'm actually in the middle of deciding between CalArts & Ringling. Such a tough choice...
