Matt DeWater To anyone that has done an internship: When I'm applying to somewhere that does applications by email (liiiiike DreamWorks), should I just put my cover letter as the body of the email? Or should I just attach it as a pdf along with my resume and portfolio?

Well I worked all day today unfortunately, but I'll be working on the candle until 4 tomorrow. I work 4-11, so I'll post whatever I have done when I get home at 11.

I finished tying down the candle - I'm not sure why the timing seems weird on the tie down passes, it plays fine on my computer. But you get the idea. Let me know what you think. I'll be working on some homework tomorrow, but I'll squeeze in some work on ... more

Matt DeWater So I've never put together a Story portfolio. Someone told me that it should literally be 100% storyboards. I find it hard to believe. Any thoughts??

A DVD with Animatics is your bread and butter I would think. I'd say 80% should be story work and the rest showcases general drawing talent. Life drawings always a must! .............but thats just me. -

Oh! Oh! Me! Me! I can draw good!! :) Matt - would you say it matters how finished the animatics are as to the dialogue or soundtrack or whatever? Or do you think boards simply set to time is good?
